Wisconsin African Immigrant Services (WAIS)

Empowering Immigrants, Enriching Communities

History of Wisconsin African Immigrants Services (WAIS)

Wisconsin African Immigrant Services (WAIS) was established in 2016 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, as a non-profit organization dedicated to addressing the needs of African immigrants. Recognizing the growing immigrant population in the state, the founders sought to create a platform that would provide essential services and support for smooth integration into American society. Since its inception, WAIS has remained committed to empowering immigrants by helping them overcome the challenges of transitioning to a new environment. As an IRS-registered 501(c)(3) organization, WAIS ensures that all donations are tax-deductible, facilitating sustained support from individuals and institutions alike.
